CLIMATE ACTION
Since 2019, the urgency of the climate crisis has not only manifested in government initiatives but has also become a focal point in global policies such as the European Green Deal, European Youth Strategy, and Sustainable Development Goals. Despite these efforts, there remains a crucial need for heightened awareness, enhanced green skills, and increased collaboration across various levels to effectively reverse the damage inflicted upon the ecosystem. In response to this imperative, our projects integrate climate action with awareness-raising, artistic endeavors, social entrepreneurship, and advocacy. This multifaceted approach is designed to address and mitigate the far-reaching effects of environmental destruction.

MENTAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING
The significance of mental health and well-being gained heightened attention during the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020. In response, our projects are dedicated to engaging young people in activities that provide them with a sense of purpose, fortify their inner resilience, and foster connections with themselves, others, and nature.
HUMAN RIGHTS & CHILDREN’S RIGHTS
The imperative to bolster global public awareness and stimulate meaningful debates around the preservation and advancement of human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights—fundamental values of the European Union—remains ongoing. Concurrently, the widespread violation of children’s rights underscores the pressing need for innovative, efficient, and creative approaches to drive positive change in the realm of children’s rights education and advocacy.

At YEPP EUROPE, fostering social entrepreneurship within communities facing fewer opportunities stands as a primary focus. Our commitment involves ongoing development of entrepreneurship learning programs tailored for both young individuals with fewer opportunities and youth coaches. MEDIA LITERACY
Given the widespread consumption of internet-based content by young people, it is crucial to foster their ability to read and comprehend visual narratives often infused by discriminatory, racist, inaccurate, and manipulative elements. Moreover, in our projects our focus is on empowering young individuals to transition from passive consumers to active creators of meaningful content.

ADVOCACY
Our commitment is to ensure that the core principles of youth and community empowerment, participation, and partnership are not merely ideals but are actively translated into practice by practitioners and decision-makers at all levels. As advocates for civic engagement and participation, we tirelessly work to influence youth-related policies, spanning from the local to the international arena. Collaborating with members of our Community Network, we engage actively in traditional and social media channels, organizing events that bring policymakers into meaningful conversations.

ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP
Active youth participation is one of the centralof central themes that permeates our projects. Our specific focus is a deliberate effort to increase the involvement of young individuals in decision-making processes and to nurture their active citizenship. We firmly recognize the agency of young people as catalysts for social change, committedly working to amplify their voices.
