YEPP Europe coordinates, develops and supports the YEPP Community Network of YEPP Local Sites and project partners in 19 countries and over 100 communities in Europe. We work for youth and community empowerment in disadvantaged areas, promote participation of young people and local stakeholders in decision-making processes and foster active citizenship. We recognize young people as actors of social change and strive to make their voices heard. To achieve this, we develop capacity-building programmes for youth, as well as qualify youth workers to support youth in different fields of interest. We also work with municipalities on designing more youth-supportive policies and facilitate transnational learning and exchange of local actors in the YEPP Community Network.
Our capacity-building programmes include the following areas:
- Youth and community empowerment
- Community-based strategic planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Cross-sectorial partnership building
- Advocacy
- Community-based entrepreneurship
- Media literacy
- Fundraising
- Inclusion of marginalized groups
- Children’s rights
- Climate action
We provide online and face-to-face consultancy and coaching in the above mentioned areas for organisations and individuals.
Our work is based on the “YEPP” philosophy and approach and underpins all our activities. To read more, click here.
