ABOUT THE PROJECT

Climate Resilience Inside Out aims to strengthen the ability of youth organizations to respond to the growing mental health impacts of the climate crisis—particularly climate anxiety among young people. The project equips youth workers with science-based, practical tools to support climate-related mental well-being, with a special focus on marginalized communities.

Through a combination of arts, culture, and reflective practices, the project promotes climate resilience, mindful leadership, and a deeper sense of planetary well-being.

At its core, the project fosters cross-border collaboration, enabling partners to co-create innovative, locally relevant solutions that support both people and planet.

Together, partners will develop a user-friendly “Roots of Climate Resilience” toolkit, designed to help youth organizations effectively address climate anxiety and implement impactful local programs. In parallel, the “Leadership for Planetary Well-being” manual and training course will empower youth workers to become mindful leaders who can guide young people through climate-related challenges with confidence and care.

Dissemination activities will extend the project’s reach, ensuring long-term impact, sustainability, and continued inspiration for action on climate-related mental health.

YEPP EUROPE is a lead coordinator in this project which has been funded under Erasmus+ Key Action 2 YOUTH, the project timeline is 12/2025 -11/2027.
