FAKE OFF!

Fostering Adolescents’ Knowledge and Empowerment in Outsmarting Fake Facts

The FAKE OFF! Project was dedicated to enhancing internet literacy among young people. Its primary objective was to cultivate awareness about deliberate misinformation and empower young individuals to discern and steer clear of “fake news.”

To spearhead innovation in youth engagement, the project team crafted a comprehensive DIGITAL LEARNING PACKAGE tailored for both young people and youth workers. This package serves as a dynamic resource for enhancing media literacy and nurturing digital competencies, including critical thinking and digital well-being. Among its components is an engaging interactive APP designed specifically for young users, alongside a RESOURCE TOOLBOX WEBSITE.

YEPP EUROPE has been a partner in this project which has been funded under Erasmus+ Key Action 2 YOUTH, the project timeline was 03/2018 -3/2020.
