The project’s work programme 2020 was composed of 42 activities and implemented in the consortium of 12 partners from 12 countries. Our target group has been young people with fewer opportunities aged 14-29, youth workers, municipality representatives and youth civil society stakeholders. The activities were conducted both offline and online using participatory, engaging and inclusive methods, and varied from youth exchanges, training courses, arts challenge to advocacy & information campaigns.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
– Engage, connect and empower youth in the spirit of EU Youth Strategy,
– Increase cooperation between youth civil society actors and public authorities.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
– Promote the guiding principles of the EU Youth Strategy, e.g. foster youth participation in democratic and civic life, connect young people at grassroots level with global issues, access to resources, etc.
– Foster the development of competences and skills through non-formal and informal learning.
Key activities:
– 6 statutory meetings: 2 General Assemblies, 4 Working Groups on Cross-Sectorial Partnerships; Youth Policy Development; Youth Steering Group, and Sustainability Task Force.
– 13 capacity building workshops & training courses
– 11 youth interviews on the European Youth Goals
– 7 podcasts done by youth
– 6 media campaigns on European Youth Goals, EU Youth Strategy, SDGs
– 4 Multiplier events
– 4 webinars on the EU Youth Strategy
– 2 international youth exchanges
– 1 photo & art challenge
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic:
– 42 activities were implemented at local, regional and international level: 60% online, 33% face-toface, 7% blended
– 8.099 participants were directly involved
– 371.740 participants were involved indirectly (mainly through dissemination)
– 77 participants attended 6 Statutory Meetings
– 4 Policy documents were developed for further use
– Young people got involved in governance
